At earlier time, the food processing industry had a low demand on food-grade plastic packaging. This began to change when food security problem became an issue on the media and the food processing industry started to pay attention to this problem. In recent years, food security has continuously remained a main concern to the public. Chia Shing has therefore started to think about the importance of “quality and security.” We inspect each manufacturing detail inside our factory to meet with the national Food Safety Management regulations. We continuously revise and improve our system to establish a standard operating procedure (SOP). We conduct self-audit and internal education training on a non-regular basis. In 2016, we have received the ISO 22000 (Quality Management System) certification. This proves Chia Shing to be capable of production while securing the public health at the meantime. And we don’t stop here. We continuously improve ourselves to make an effort for the public health and produce food-grade plastic bags for the customers.
